Qatar played with entier team A , they are Asian champion , play at home , one of their best player is  naturalized and bought the referees

This game made some news yesterday since Marciniak was the referee. Actually he has a worse reputation here in Poland than he does with UEFA. 19 minutes of extra time sounds far-fetched by default.

Yes, it's obvious the Qatar group will be a desired destination for anyone outside Pot 1 during the draw ( I assume the hosts will be in that pot by design). Any team from Europe/South America or even Africa could advance into the knockout round. Qatar has bought enough foreigners to look competitive in handball but football is a different ball game
