I suppose it’s possible he had no other symptoms other than losing 2-3% off his top performance levels. I know that COVID patients - like top international athlete my 88-year old mother - have trouble absorbing sufficient oxygen.
Federer91 2,134 Posted October 10, 2020 #82 Share Posted October 10, 2020 Very unfortunate for Yates, i had him to win it all in our contest.. With him and G out, i'm sure Nibali will still find a way to lose another GT.
Grassmarket 2,749 Posted October 10, 2020 #83 Share Posted October 10, 2020 Looks like a breakaway day in the Giro - 10 minutes up with 34km to go. First bid for the win - Alex Dowsett goes off solo. He’s a TT specialist so.... Looking very good for Dowsett now, 30 secs & 6.5km to go. Textbook 1-2 for Israel Startup Nation, sent Brändle down the road first, when he got caught Dowsett attacked, get their first ever Grand Tour win! Gianlu33 3,570 Posted October 10, 2020 #84 Share Posted October 10, 2020 Frist victory, excluding ITT, for Dowsett since 2015
Grassmarket 2,749 Posted October 11, 2020 #85 Share Posted October 11, 2020 Big climbing day today, but it’s cold & wet so nobody much interested in the GC race so far. 30k to go, looks like it is starting to happen now. And...nothing happened. Looks like a breakaway day, then. 4 mins & 15k to go. Castroviejo & Ruben Guerreiro going for the win from the break. Action at last from the peloton. Guerreiro gets the win! First World Tour win. Bust-up in the last 1k for the overall, but Almeida keeps the Pink.

That's what happens when it's a final climb where the steepest sections are at the very last parts, leading to everyone more or less waiting for that to possibly do anything If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! heywoodu 13,540 Posted October 11, 2020 #87 Share Posted October 11, 2020 Meanwhile Edoardo Affini got fined 200CHF for a sticky bottle today. Also, Edoardo Affini withdrew after Friday's stage. Mihkel Räim taking the stages, Rein Taaramäe taking the GC. Too bad Jaan Kirsipuu isn't there anymore to sprint well and then withdraw in blind panic when the first traffic bump is in sight. Nobody started the Tour without finishing it more often than Kirsipuu's twelve times If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated!
