2018 Youth Olympic Gold Medalist ;)

Notably, that title came on a clay court as well.

Interesting to look at those youth Olympic medallists : Gaston gold and bronze in double, Juvan Gold, Burel silver and Bronze in mixed double with Gaston ! Juvan /Swiatek winning girls' double  !

Tennis is not really that big of a sport in the US and arguably in the UK

May be not " popular " as American Football, Ice Hockey and Basketball or Baseball, but there are always a lot of American Tennnis players at Grand Slam tournaments and  they are a lot more than UK players for sure . This year at Roland-Garros, USA has the most women (19) before Russia (12) and France (11) and second in number of men players (13) after France (18)...

At this rate women's quarterfinals could easily be something like:

SWIATEK vs TREVISAN

GARCIA vs KREJCIKOVA/PODOROSKA

COLLINS vs FERRO

ZHANG vs BADOSA/SIEGEMUND

you picked most of the losers :p  I would have picked JABEUR - KENIN (for a 3rd in a row Grand Slam meeting this year after Australian Open and US Open)

Oh Dominic, Dominic.. Props for all the fight in this brutal match, and probably the sunday 5-setter played a factor too, but it showed again that there is only one Big 3 in tennis and no one can obtain that level. I thought after the US win and the beginning of RG he has finally reached the next level, but guess that level is not unobtainable for anyone else.
