TBH I find this even more impressive that the game against New Zealand. Not because the result itself is that impressive, but rather because they came back just a week later and fought extremely well. I think the only pot 1/2 team Italy could possibly beat is Japan, but yes, it can't get harder than that. Same as 2019 (NZ/RSA).
