I live here!  My flat is the one with the dirty windows.  But it’s paid for!

Cool! I was in a hotel between the Royal Mile and Holyrood Park earlier this week. Second time I've been in Edinburgh. Felt like a great place to live!

There are grass markets in cities all over the world. It is where you buy & sell live cows, horses etc.  So yeah, 18th Century probably.
