How does a tiny country like Slovakia have enough capacities to test all those people on one weekend?

where there's a will, there's a way.

but these used for this nationwide testing are antigen tests, (yes, sure, not the most accurate, but still accurate to reveal many asymptomatic pacients and send them into isolation with their relatives, stoping them to spread the virus and tilt the curve down in hope to save as many lives as it is possible, considering our tiny hospital capacities). the state bought them two weeks ago from South Korea only for this purpose, around 13 millions by 4 EUR a piece.

5000 Testing stations (copied the 5000 voting stations of the country) were open both on Saturday and Sunday from 7 AM to 10 PM. People were called to attend their respective station by alphabetical order of their surnames,. 20.000 health workers performed the tests, 10 thousands of Army forces and Police assisted to kept order.

Canadian broadcasting legend Alex Trebek has died :(

I watched a lot of Jeopardy growing up. I’ll miss hearing his voice on that program.

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!
