If the situation in Slovakia as bad as everyone says I wouldn't give a fuck what EU says about this. Either save lives or admit coronavirus is indeed a political problem. Ursula van der Leyen has looked incompetent enough already as the delays in vaccine transfers are linked directly to her purchase "strategy" last summer.

The last wave of coronavirus hit hard in Slovakia and especially in Košice region. The numbers in hospitals are growing at an insane rate, our healthcare professionals are completely exhausted, most of them working almost continuously.

 

The pride of eastern Slovakia HC Košice therefore decided to enter today's "el-classico" of the Slovak hockey extra league Slovan Bratislava - HC Košice in our capital in a special edition of jerseys with which they want to express support to health workers. 

 

The jerseys will go to the auction after the match. the club will donates all gained money to both hospitals in Košice. If anyone is interested, it is possible to participate in the auction until this Sunday https://eshop.hckosice.sk/aukcie

So after quite a bit of confusion about Sputnik V and EMA, EMA has now officially started a rolling review of the Russian vaccine. CureVac's vaccine is also currently undergoing a rolling review.

Meanwhile a meeting is planned march 11th to hopefully make a conclusion on the Johnson & Johnson application. This could make it the 4th vaccine approved in EU. However it seems like they'll be unable to deliver any vaccines before the start of April.

It's getting a little insane how much things are getting completely out of hand in Brazil...

 

I don't think right now there is any more worrying country than that. Brazil's current situation is about to become like Lombardy a year ago.
