Vektor 3,177 Posted March 31, 2020 #2284 Share Posted March 31, 2020 Apparently at least 8 Hungarian swimmers got the coronavirus. Here are the named swimmers who have COVID-19: Boglárka Kapás Dominik Kozma Dávid Horváth Richárd Bohus This is exactly why we can't have the Olympics this year. Kapás is the reigning World Champion in Women's 200m butterfly.

heywoodu 13,499 Posted March 31, 2020 #2286 Share Posted March 31, 2020 Precautions are being extended, as expected. Specifically until 28 April, which is a bit of a weird random day, but fine I expected it to be until a Sunday again (with of course new possible extensions). If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! heywoodu 13,499 Posted March 31, 2020 #2290 Share Posted March 31, 2020 (edited) Excellent explanation about why 28 April was chosen and not the end of May or something, quite simple: "Because it is simply impossible to look ahead more than a few weeks, so extending precautions already for almost two months from now makes zero sense." Completely agreed. Journalists have their brains already eaten, I think. "Why don't you just test the entire population?!" "Why 28 April and not until the end of the 'May vacation'?!" (this vacation ends on 3 May in most places) Ugh.
