heywoodu 13,499 Posted March 11, 2020 #781 Share Posted March 11, 2020 500+ cases now, with 5 elderly people who died. In one of the provinces (with 200 or so cases) events with a lot of people have been either cancelled or will be held without spectators (like Indoor Brabant, equestrian), in the other eleven provinces it's basically business as usual. If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! kungshamra71 681 Posted March 11, 2020 #787 Share Posted March 11, 2020 (edited) A very interesting article in why there has been this escalation of cases now in the netherlands: https://www.irishtimes.com/news/world/europe/how-dutch-false-sense-of-security-helped-coronavirus-spread-1.4199027 Meanwhile in Portugal they still have 59 cases but i'm afraid is just the tip of the iceberg, as they're starting to find out infected people also in hospitals. Also because people are super irresponsible and just decided today to crowd the beaches ignoring government warnings... (because temperature was 28 degrees today) Edited March 11, 2020 by kungshamra71
