But why is WvA ahead?

I must be missing the joke here :p

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

It’s the World’s most mis-named race this week, the Driedagse Brugge-De Panne

Starts in Bruges :yes

Finishes in De Panne :yes

Does NOT last three days! :redcard:

Yeah, if you change the length and the length is a prominent part of the name...I'm fairly sure one would have to change to name :p

Then again, in car racing the DTM (German Touring Car Championship) will move from touring cars to sports cars next year, yet keep the DTM name. Brugge isn't alone :p

Historic moment: at this very moment, two Grand Tours are being held, the Vuelta has started.

In translation it means they will be some of the weakest GTs on record. :p

I mean, the whole one-day classics season has turned into track cycling sprint at this point...

Not really though. The Vuelta has a strong field in terms of GC riders, the Giro has a decent field but with Yates and Kruijswijk out one can forgive the field for not being as strong as it could be and with Ackermann, Bennett (Vuelta) and Demare (Giro) the world's best sprinters are in them. The likes of Van der Poel, Van Aert and Alaphilippe were in the classics which is by far their strongest point anyway.

All together, it's just not really noticeable that the peloton is a bit stretched.

Didn’t realise It but with the cancellation of the Compiègne-Roubaix that’s the last one-dayer (and indeed three-dayer :finger:) of the year.  Just the Giro & the Vuelta (inc women’s mini Vuelta) to go.
