heywoodu 13,499 Posted October 11, 2020 #185 Share Posted October 11, 2020 Favourites Van der Poel and Van Aert looking at each other when three guys were away and Pedersen made the jump, they were too late then What a show in those final ten kilometers! And what a race by Pedersen making the jump and sprinting to the win. By far the most impressive bit of cycling I've seen from him And yes, I know he's a former world champion. Belgian TV coverage after the final just ridiculous - cameras straight to 8th place van Aerts, nothing for the actual winner.
Agger 1,576 Posted October 11, 2020 #188 Share Posted October 11, 2020 Strong Danish day in cycling with Mads' win, a win for Casper Pedersen in Paris-Tours (though it's really not the race it once was) and a 3rd place in the Giro. It’s second season syndrome, happens in every sport. When you’re in your first season you achieve a lot because the opposition is never focussed on you. In your second season, everyone knows you’re dangerous & so they guard you out of contention.
