Tóth leading the race with 2:13:34 at 30th KM.

 

Right now only 10 M are still in the race and 6 of them walking well under the Tokyo standard !

Rome will host European Championships in 2024, the only other candidate was  Gliwice.

Talk about desperate times. In two weeks, Trnava will host Croatian race walking championships. 20,000 m and 50,000 m on track! That's 50/125 laps!

 

Rankings qualification will restart on Dec 1st. We have a decent chance for our first ever Olympic race walker.

Yes,  I know about that, it will be also our national championship as well, originally it was schedulled somewhere in Italy, I do not remember the city, but since it was cancelled, our athletics federation opted for this solution and will organize it on track with goal to qualify some teammate to Matej Tóth in Tokyo

A joint Czech, Slovak and Croatian championship. A good idea.

Wonder if the Austrians and Hungarians would be interested.    Or if the Habsburg family could come in as a title sponsor.
