phelps 6,781 Posted January 24, 2020 #564 Share Posted January 24, 2020 Sofia Goggia, after today's crash, won't be at the start of Tomorrow's DH for sure...and most likely she won't take part also in Sunday's Super-G... it looks that she doesn't have any physical damage (only bruised right ankle and leg), but she was quite shocked after Today's race and the team managers don't want to take any risk with her (she already has a long history of crashes and bad injuries)... Monzanator 3,593 Posted January 25, 2020 #565 Share Posted January 25, 2020 Seems like the top girls believe the sun effect will happen today as well and they chose the later bibs (Suter #19, Schmidhofer #17 and Venier #15). Goggia's withdrawal means Bassino jumps into Top 30 and starts with #4!

heywoodu 13,540 Posted January 25, 2020 #567 Share Posted January 25, 2020 This track sucks...everyone who falls is gliding forever and gliding and gliding....and then, bam, straight into the nets. Way more than on other tracks. Monzanator 3,593 Posted January 25, 2020 #569 Share Posted January 25, 2020 Bassino 0,25 faster than Shiffrin. Given this track being a GS/SG combo there's every chance Bassino ends up on the podium
