Finally got to watching all finals, good to see at least there were no weird results there :p  I kept score after every round and apparently had 7 of 8 winners correct except for the very last one :d

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

great score...I surely couldn't do near as good...but do you really think that all weight classes had the "right" verdict?

p.s. not predicting the Gold Medal for Jalolov (even before the start of the championship, not only before the final bout) imho was really a brave choice...:p

I had no idea about who was supposed to be the better boxer before the finals, so I basically started from a neutral standpoint and in all of the first seven finals I watched, my three-round score added up to the same winner as the official winner, so yeah I think those were the right verdict indeed. When watching the super heavyweight final I thought Kunkabayev was better, specifically in the first two rounds where Jalolov was mostly just pushing him, holding him and otherwise avoiding him, but he might have made up for it with a good third round so I can accept that one.

thanks...

tbh, I don't remember the details, but at the time I had a couple of bouts not exactly going according to my personal scorecard...

yeah, Jalolov didn't do much in the final and I guess he won more because of his status than for what he actually did on the ring...I only wanted to say that he was the pre-competition favourite and not taking him as the winner before the final wasn't a mainstream choice...

by the way...yeah, as often happened in the aiba events even in the past, the finals didn't have any shameful verdict (especially compared to the women's worlds), but the earlier rounds...
