I think like in many countries it's a 'wave' kind of thing: there's always been times in which it has been great, and times in which it has been mediocre, and then great again. Now it's on the rise in certain sports and at some point it'll go down again and then up and so on :p

Yes, i think most your sports is in good conditions. Looking at your potential you have a good chance for maybe 30 medals in Tokio.

No idea :d I don't care so much about the total number of medals, as long as the athletes themselves do well :p

Rowing is a sport that lends itself to a clever doping program

Invisible to most outside Olympics

Rather like track cycling

Mind you in this day and age you need clever sports scientists to get away with it

Now try and think of a country which peaks in both sports every 4 years

Synek out of the podium for the first time since 2005 (?) :yikes:

And damn, Broenink got close to the first Dutch M1x medal since 1966, but that was some race from all guys!

Anyone know the internal duch qualification standard? :p@heywoodu

Top-6 for all boats (apart from the eights of course), for every other boat that takes a quota but no top-6, there are extra rules. One of the following results next year:

- Top-3 in World Cup 1

- Top-4 in World Cup 2

- Top-5 in World Cup 3

- Top-5 in the European championships / top-4 for women
