phelps 6,795 Posted March 13, 2020 #112 Share Posted March 13, 2020 in the meantime, Michela Moioli wins not only the SBX World Cup, but also today's race with a great comeback on the last straight...
Gianlu33 3,570 Posted March 13, 2020 #113 Share Posted March 13, 2020 Sadly Haemmerle won the stage and the world cup. Not a great final for the italians
phelps 6,795 Posted March 13, 2020 #114 Share Posted March 13, 2020 Alessandro Haemmerle wins race and Cup title... Sommariva, heavily disturbed by his teammate Visintin, had to let the Austrian (and the same Visintin) go before the last couple of turns and basically didn't have any real chance to overtake Heammerle and win the cup... Gianlu33 3,570 Posted March 13, 2020 #116 Share Posted March 13, 2020 Just now, phelps said: yeah, but it's only Visintin to blame... not only he didn't play any team tactics, he did even disturbed Sommariva when he was fighting hard against Haemmerle... why didn't he keep the distance and let them play for the major result without interfering with that? But this isn't something of new, of a scandal. Our snowboard cross team never do some team play...

Andry84 74 Posted March 13, 2020 #119 Share Posted March 13, 2020 (edited) In these sad days great results, as usual, by Italian snowboarder that finish a great season with 2 podiums. Pity for Sommariva but this is sport, and in sport there are rivals and sometimes you won, sometimes you lose, but once again congratulations to Italian snowboarders, probably, I would say surely, the best team in the world considering parallel and SBX teams. heywoodu 13,540 Posted March 14, 2020 #120 Share Posted March 14, 2020 And again the problem with competitions in Switzerland. FIS always posts videos of the finals, but not when it's in Switzerland...it just stays empty then. I get that there's things with rights, but even the federation themselves aren't allowed to show anything? https://www.youtube.com/user/fissnowboardchannel/videos If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated!
