I think they should just move games exactly one week forward. It’s the perfect window for the games, and a great appetizer for Tokyo2020. “Sport has the power to change the world. I was confident that I could report on the games in 2021, but I’m not sure if that will be the case in 2022. It is, what it is. I’m growing more furious with the Olympics move every day though. “Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire. heywoodu 9,145 Posted April 2, 2020 #36 Share Posted April 2, 2020 Quote Keeping to the original dates in July 2021 would have meant excluding many athletes and officials involved in the Olympics Which athletes? Recurve shooters, climbers and karatekas (although it'd be weird if the World Games had the exact same events)?

I mean in terms of Olympic athletes, so no compound archers Women's softball then I guess. Any idea if the same level of players are expected to be active there in both the Olympics and World Games? I would assume so since Softball will be left off the 2024 Olympic program, but who knows at this point “Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire.
