It will go to December I believe because few quotas come from Tokyo Paralympics .

No, no one wants to be in Birmingham to begin with, let alone in December :p

World Games either earlier in 2021 than planned or similar dates in 2022.

I think they should just move games exactly one week forward. It’s the perfect window for the games, and a great appetizer for Tokyo2020.

Not happy really. I was confident that I could report on the games in 2021, but I’m not sure if that will be the case in 2022. It is, what it is. I’m growing more furious with the Olympics move every day though.

Keeping to the original dates in July 2021 would have meant excluding many athletes and officials involved in the Olympics

Which athletes? Recurve shooters, climbers and karatekas (although it'd be weird if the World Games had the exact same events)?

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

Softball, and Compound archers too (as the Paralympics act as a qualification event (the best Paralympic archers in each gender qualify).

I mean in terms of Olympic athletes, so no compound archers :p

Women's softball then I guess. Any idea if the same level of players are expected to be active there in both the Olympics and World Games?

I would assume so since Softball will be left off the 2024 Olympic program, but who knows at this point :dunno:
