I feel like this is a bit of a disappointment compared to what it could have been but you with covid restrictions, the delay and some injuries I think we came out ok in the end. There does seem to be a lot of development and potential for the next 3 years.

Yea, the women's 4x100 relay ran out of time (could have easily qualified), so there is a quota loss of 3 there + 1 from the other two relays (due to the reduction in relay team sizes). That is already 61 athletes, not too far off the 66 that was sent too Rio.

I watched the semi-finals of the diving trials. The men's 3m is going to be fascinating later today - Imbeau-Dulac is the most consistent, Fofana has the biggest highs and lowest lows and Ciprick is a bit inconsistent as well.

Canada's team size stands at 367 athletes atm.

These can add to the team:

-Men's hammer throw (Athletics) - Adam Keenan is the first reserve

-Men's basketball (12 athletes) - Waiting for qualification tournament to end on Sunday

-Laurence Vincent Lapointe is still waiting to hear if she can compete in canoeing

-An appeal on the exclusion of the equestrian jumping team is still outstanding ?

-There is an appeal currently regarding Jeremy Chartier's potential participation in Tokyo. We will know the verdict on Friday.

-Still waiting word on Yvette Yong receiving the unused quota from the Oceania Qualification tournament.

-Any B standard swimmer being invited to the games (unlikely, but still a possibility exists).

so if everything is positive then we are looking at 385+ athletes
