It's hard to find the golden mean for mobile browsing without having to create an application. If the forum is responsive then there should be no problems, but browsers also do their job. About the app - I'd like it too, mostly because of the push notifications (it works perfectly on PC, but not on mobile). Check out "The Royals Community" - it's an app to the other forum I read. It's not perfect (a few months ago the push notifications stopped working, but until then it was great, for example when I got a notification about a thread "Duchess of Cambridge in hospital" I knew it's time to turn on BBC or Sky News), but good enough for a forum like ours.
