Big mistakes for :POR Godinho, including some well-deserved 2s for bucking in the zig-zag.

Unfortunately, the main camera appears to be out of commission at the moment... Results in pretty poor Tv direction thus far.

Direction has improved slightly, but still it's pretty bad. Highlight reels after each ride look like some cringy TikTok videos with frames going on for a second at the time.

Nobody broke 70% in the first session. :FRA Basquin sits first at 69.938%. Will not be much of a factor going forward though.

:AUS Brown 69.674%

Very good start for Australia. Better than expected in their quest for the Olympic qualification.

:NED Zweistra goes above and beyond the expectations and becomes the first rider to break 70%. Ich Weiss has come of age today in Herning, that was classy.

:LUX Skarsoe wss trending over 71% for a long time, but alas, cheap mistakes happened.

Still goes into 3rd place so far, but will not be advancing for the next round sadly due to the mistakes in zig-zag and one tempi changes.

Standings after the first rotation:

:DEN Rasmussen 76.724%

:GER Klimke 75.683%

:NED Zweistra 72.376%

:USA Duerrhammer 70.839%

:FRA Basquin 69.938%

:LUX Skarsoe 69.829%

:AUS Brown 69.674%

Exceptional test from Rasmussen & Zack, but also from Klimke & Franz who rose to the occasion to also post a personal best.

Would not be surprised if Rasmussen stays in the lead for the entire first day. It was that good.
