No idea why the two best Dutch riders Gal and Minderhoud are not participating in this World Cup. Tomorrow two riders that I have never heard of will start. That doesn't bode well. I don't think the Netherlands will even make it to the top 6.

Medal is pretty unlikely, but Top 6 should be quite safe.

Gal is taking a sabbatical this year... No idea when he is planning to come back. Minderhoud's horse was not fit to compete here.

good job from Dinja van Liere for the Dutch team. Even with the two best riders from the Netherlands (Gal en Minderhout) not taking part, should be possible to get a place at the top 6. Germany, UK and Denmark will go for the medals.

The dutch team have 2 riders in action today: Emmelie Scholtens will score between the 72% and 73% as she did in Rotterdam a few weeks ago. And Marieke van der Putten wil score between 73% and 74% as she did in Ermelo a few weeks ago.

Wagner Ehlinger posts 73.3% to enter Top 10. Curiously, the first ever Luxembourgian judge at this stage Christof Umbach awarded him by far the lowest individual score. Talk about throwing your countryman under the bus just to keep your career going!

Luxembourg now has two riders in Top 20! They have a very good chance to qualify a team for Paris (but next year). Would probably be the first Luxembourgian team at the Olympic in decades, across all sports.

Standings after the third rotation... It's incredibly close at the top.

:GER 154.130%

:DEN 153.587%

:GBR 153.385%

:NED 151.211%

:SWE 150.620%

:USA 145.606%

:ESP 144.659%

:AUT 143.276%

:AUS 141.863%

:POR 140.575%

New Zealand and Japan have already completed their challenge.

:NZL 208.664%

:JPN 201.755%

So, Australia needs 66.801% to qualify for Group G.

It's an outside shot, but there is a chance Australia sneaks into Top 6, which would be a great gift for NZ...
