orangeman 1,323 Posted June 22, 2022 #53 Share Posted June 22, 2022 Masse gets another gold! Wilm in 4th by just 0.03. Great race by both.

I have a feeling we may finish fourth in the 4x200m free relay, adding Penny (who will have just finished the 100m free semis) and Summer may not be enough to close in the gap. McIntosh Sanchez Ruck Oleksiak is one hell of a line up.

It is, but due to the schedule 3/4 have already competed this session. Perhaps the adrenaline of our performance this session will push them for a medal. orangeman 1,323 Posted June 22, 2022 #57 Share Posted June 22, 2022 Very successful night for Canada. Canada currently sits 5th in the medal table, just one behind Australia. I'm sure this won't last, but I sent a screenshot to my Aussie friend nonetheless. Still living down the loss in mixed curling. Edit: Canada is 4th on the swimming medal table, still one behind AUS. Third in total medals. Just documenting this.
orangeman 1,323 Posted June 22, 2022 #58 Share Posted June 22, 2022 Liendo's bronze tonight was the first medal by an individual man at the WC since 2015 (Ryan Cochrane). Hoping big things from him in the 50.
JoshMartini007 2,209 Posted June 22, 2022 #59 Share Posted June 22, 2022 Great day for Canada, four medals and two more finals appearances for tomorrow. Only relative downside was two 17th place finishes in the men's heats.
james89 440 Posted June 23, 2022 #60 Share Posted June 23, 2022 I know it’s a similar schedule to normal but I’m perplexed how the 50m free and 100 fly are so close together. Super impressive to see those times for Liendo for both.
