MantaRaymarc 75 Posted June 3, 2016 #33 Share Posted June 3, 2016 I thought Yang Soo-jin has already qualified for the Games through the 2016 Worlds. How come she was not qualified?

Three (3) quota places will be allocated to the three (3) highest ranked athletes at the 2016 UIPM World Championships unless previously qualified in which case the quota place(s) will be allocated to next best ranked athlete(s) on the Pentathlon World Ranking List of 1 June 2016. But South Korea contains 1 female quota so far.

All three WCH medallists (Kovács, Clouvel and Schöneborn) already gained a quota, so their places go to ranking. Meanwhile, Hungary have chosen their duos: Women: Földházi, Kovács Men: Marosi, Demeter Which means Kasza's quota from ECH goes to Krastanov. Vojthas 947 Posted June 15, 2016 #37 Share Posted June 15, 2016 Russia: Lesun and Kustov in men's (Puchkarevskiy out, Staśkiewicz from Poland in); Rimsaite and Gubaydullina in women's (Buriak out, Coyle in, but probably it will be Kodedova after Germany might choose Schöneborn and Schleu, then Coyle will probably take place of Kohlmann from ECH)

She's the next in line for the unused places.

She's qualified as GB took French and Murray, so she took Prentice's place (Özyüksel took place of Vencakuskaite).

Huh? How did the reallocation happen? I thought Özyuksel took Prentice's place. She's ahead of Isabella.
