Dominican Republic is pretty good at collecting new sports to debut in. In Rio, they debuted in archery, cycling, equestrian and tennis. In Tokyo, they debuted in baseball and rowing.

 

You'd think they would be running out of options, but nope, here comes the football debut out of literal nowhere.

Good to see countries like Dominican Republic and Guatemala challenging for qualification (and in  case actually qualifying), the Olympic scene is changing and a lot more smaller nations are qualifying for these sort of events.
