Mkbw50 380 Posted June 18, 2022 #41 Share Posted June 18, 2022 That website is shite but the finals being on BBC is nice. For such a big event it's weird how it's online-only, even random Diamond League meetings are live on BBC Three As now we come across the world To share these Games of old Let all the flags of every land In brotherhood unfold

They do a live stream, but instead of just putting the livestream on the website after the event finishes, they break it up event by event, which always creates delays. The evening sessions are going to be on BBC streaming also, so they’re usually on the BBC iplayer 1-2 hours after the event. Yeah, everything seems to be streaming only. It's not on Belgian TV, Dutch NOS will start an hour after the session started, not on BBC (TV), doesn't seem to be on German TV. It's like every channel is ignoring the existence of the FINA sports nowadays. How are people supposed to get interested in such an incredibly invisible sport? If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! I think it’s more to do with all the knock-on changes from the originally-planned Fukuoka 2021. TV Companies have their sports schedules set & the rights paid for years in advance, so when a major event is changed at (relativity) the last minute, it gets bumped to the bottom of the priorities list.
