Was that the one where little Sterling basically jumped against the three times taller Danish guy (who of course didn't move because it was like a mosquito hit him) and then of course fell down and hoped for the referee to fall for it? :d

Not sure if that was the same moment, but it looked sort of hilarious, like he was trying to break down a wall by jumping up against it but the wall refused to move

This is not basketball where u stand under the basket and wait for other player to make a foul in football if u obstruct the player then it's a clear foul and BTW Vestergaard was very lucky in avoiding such fouls in the match

What would you have him do? Just rewatched the moment. There's no way that could have been a penalty.

"Impeding the progress of an opponent means moving into the opponent’s path to obstruct, block, slow down or force a change of direction when the ball is not within playing distance of either player." The ball was right where they played!

But what was Vestergaard supposed to do here? He was standing there and Sterling came running up against him, was he supposed to simply move out of the way and let Sterling go for a free shot on goal? It's not like Vestergaard was actively doing much in that moment..

Some Danish fans had a pretty tough evening as well with English "fans" spitting at them and some pretty rough shouting, also towards children.
Apparently some English fool managed to get a ticket for the Danish section and tried starting a fight as well.

And Social Media is packed with people defending the behaviour and comments about how it's just getting attention because it's England.

Some people just want to show their "fan" culture from the very worst side. :(

Sadly we have fools as well here in Denmark, especially when we start discussing beer throwing in the stands. Apparently you shouldn't come to a football game if you don't want your clothes to smell like beer!

And also some fools booing the Russian anthem (didn't notice that where I was watching the game)

Thanks for the exact informations.

Laser show, questionable penalty, and these things. It is much more digusting than it seemed first.
