Pathetic performance by Germany once again. With a win at home against Hungary they would have had a far easier opponent in the next round.

Honestly, IMO they are in the easier quarter now. Not that I think they will get very far with a performance like today anyway, but I prefer a round of 16 against England to a possible quarter final against Spain.

Well, the last team that barely qualified against us at the EUROs with a draw went on to win the whole thing. Maybe Germany is the next Portugal after all. :d

Yeah, and this very same team finished 3rd again today. Be afraid, rest of Europe. :d

Hopefully not. I don’t Even want to imagine how the matches would look like. Every non-german who watches the German matches (if their nation isn’t involved) has lost his mind. Compared to Germany even Spain looks good.

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

i dont think so, it only works when you draw all three games in the group, and then keep drawing (in the 90 minutes) almost every game until the end!

This guy has 36 years. He's probably on drugs, that's my logic explanation

Everybody isn't impressed.

Here's Annimari Korte telling that 30 km/h is her speed when passing the hurdles:

(and to Swedish newspaper Expressen she claims that 13-year old girls can reach that top speed)

I wanted to look up what it would mean for the teams in R16 to qualify for the QF in terms of their history at the Euros and Worlds, so here's the number of times the teams were in the Top8 at the two most important tournaments, with the exception of a few instances where qualifying for the first round group stage was enough to be in the Top8.

(since 2000/overall)

:BEL (3/6) - E1972, E1980, W1986, W2014, E2016, W2018

:POR (6/9) - W1966, E1984, E1996, E2000, E2004, W2006, E2008, E2012, E2016

This means that if Portugal doesn't win against Belgium, this will be the first EURO since 1992 that Portugal couldn't reach the QF.

:ITA (5/16) - W1934, W1938, W1968, W1970, W1978, E1980, W1982, E1988, W1990, W1994, W1998, E2000, W2006, E2008, E2012, E2016

:AUT (0/4) - W1934, W1954, W1978, W1982

:FRA (7/15) - W1938, W1958, W1960, W1982, E1984, W1986, E1996, W1998, E2000, E2004, W2006, E2012, W2014, E2016, W2018

:SUI (0/3) - W1934, W1938, W1954

:CRO (2/4) - E1996, W1998, E2008, W2018

:ESP (5/12) - W1934, W1950, E1964, E1984, W1986, W1994, E1996, E2000, W2002, E2008, W2010, E2012

:SWE (2/9) - W1934, W1938, W1950, W1958, W1974, E1992, W1994, E2004, W2018

:UKR (1/1) - W2006

:ENG (4/13) - W1954, W1962, W1966, E1968, W1970, W1982, W1986, W1990, E1996, E2004, W2006, E2012, W2018

:GER (7/26) - W1934, W1954, W1958, W1962, W1966, W1970, E1972, W1974, E1976, W1978, E1980, W1982, W1986, E1988, W1990, E1992, W1994, E1996, W1998, W2002, W2006, E2008, W2010, E2012, W2014, E2016

:NED (5/13) - W1974, E1976, W1978, E1988, E1992, W1994, E1996, W1998, E2000, E2004, E2008, W2010, W2014

:CZE (2/10) - W1934, W1938, E1960, W1962, E1976, E1980, W1990, E1996, E2004, E2012

:WAL (1/2) - W1958, E2016

:DEN (1/5) - E1964, E1984, E1992, W1998, E2004

So Wales and Denmark is the weakest R16 match in terms of these (duh). And :NED:CZE:WAL:DEN is the weakest quarter (also duh).
