Not an expert on the matter but isn't Mazepin kinda a prick and an average racer pushed by his oligarch dad's money?

Honestly no sympathy with the guy then

Oh absolutely, if anyone has to be pushed out this way, better Mazepin than basically anyone else :p

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

Things get serious.

EA Sports has revealed that it is in the process of removing the Russian national team and all Russian clubs from FIFA 22.

A statement from EA Sports added that the company 'stands in solidarity with the Ukrainian people' after the country was invaded by Russia.

The team won't be expelled per se, they pulled the Uralkali sponsors brands during the last day of testing and they can always draft a test driver in place of Mazepin (currently Pietro Fittipaldi). The bigger question is whether the team could survive without a title sponsor. The most logical answer would be "no" hence team would collapse on its own unless they can find a last-minute replacement.

Looks like Banco do Brasil will sponsor them and Pietro Fittipaldi will be driving in the first half of the season

Total silence from GB Paralympics since their statement. Sounds like a boycott will be announced tomorrow. If 20+ nations withdraw the IPC would surely have to at least attempt a u turn or face a games with only China, Russia, Belarus and few others competing.
