james89 410 Posted March 9, 2022 #21 Share Posted March 9, 2022 That was a fun session for the Canadians - Wilkie and McKeever looked phenomenal and oddly not tired at the end.
orangeman 1,296 Posted March 9, 2022 #22 Share Posted March 9, 2022 I seriously need to stop watching curling. It's just....
Topicmaster1010 2,182 Posted March 9, 2022 Author #23 Share Posted March 9, 2022 If there's something I learned from the Olympics, it's that not watching Canadian curling improves one's mental health greatly orangeman
orangeman 1,296 Posted March 9, 2022 #24 Share Posted March 9, 2022 Another easy miss. Thurston needs to take a rest, I think. The last 3 games have been terrible for him.
orangeman 1,296 Posted March 9, 2022 #25 Share Posted March 9, 2022 Well, they won. Hopefully they carry it on tonight. Good start so far.
JoshMartini007 2,130 Posted March 9, 2022 #26 Share Posted March 9, 2022 One more win in curling to guarantee our spot in the semis, if not we'll have to hope results go our way.
orangeman 1,296 Posted March 10, 2022 #27 Share Posted March 10, 2022 Clutch shot from Thurston to win the game! Woooo!
orangeman 1,296 Posted March 10, 2022 #28 Share Posted March 10, 2022 That was a fantastic game, especially the last 2 ends. Thurston with absolute clutch shots in both those last two ends to get the win. Props to Norway, they almost took it. Yay, playoffs!
Topicmaster1010 2,182 Posted March 10, 2022 Author #29 Share Posted March 10, 2022 First day without any medals but not entirely surprising. With Marcoux hurt, there was only one real chance in the standing giant slalom but unfortunately Guimond DNF'd. Big win by the wheelchair curling team though! Should be a different story medal wise tomorrow though with the women's giant slalom, snowboarding and biathlon.

Hockey semi against Korea, too. Big day! Edit: The schedule I was looking at was wrong. Curling will have semis and bronze medal game tomorrow. Gold game will be on Saturday. Let's hope Canada plays Saturday.
