I hope Swiatek wins Roland Garros too, and then, I am fine whatever she does later in the year, and given the state of other so called top 10 players, I see I'll enjoy

Grass season has started. Camila Giorgi won her first match in Nottingham against UK-Turkish wildcard Sonay Kartal but Emma Raducanu retired with abdominal injury vs Viktoria Golubic. It's becoming clear Raducanu's fragile body is not up to par to compete full-time on the WTA circuit right now.

Beatriz Haddad Maia becomes the first Brazilian to win WTA title on grass since Maria Bueno in 1968 after beating Alison Riske in three sets in Nottingham.

 

Also Ekaterina Alexandrova won the Den Bosch title in two sets over Aryna Sabalenka.
