Yes I agree, it would have been nice to have team kata together with individual

meh...

it would have been better not to have Kata at all and have all the 5 individual Kumite weight classes (and with a lot more than just 10 starters...imho, 32 per class would have been the right choice...but, as the IOC doesn't care about the level of their Olympic competitions, 16 could also have been a good number...10 is definitely a farce)...

the individual fight in karaté is such ugly and boring  + those cheaters referee much more than boxing , while kata is beautiful to watch relaxing & spectacular in the same time

I don't agree at all...fighting is exciting, kata is soooo boring (and the biased judging is a problem for all the events in Karate, even worse than in Boxing)...

The level of competition is a problem IOC should face in the mid-future... after all, the number of athletes (and their host structures) is not the main problem of the Olympic games

as biggest delegation Egypt participated in all categories so dominates the the table of medals
