Makedonas 1,561 Posted January 16, 2022 #141 Share Posted January 16, 2022 Another easy draw for Berrettini. He is still ranked in the top 10 despite only having one top 10 win since 2019... Also never beaten a top 10 player at a major, and this time he can't face a top 10 opponent until at least the semifinals... Grassmarket 2,715 Posted January 16, 2022 #142 Share Posted January 16, 2022 Just so everyone’s clear Djokovic is not being deported because he is a health risk. If he was a health risk it would be grossly irresponsible to take him to the airport & put him on a plane. He is being deported because he is a political risk to the Australian government. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/world-australia-60001871 NikolaB and Kirkpatrick
ChandlerMne 605 Posted January 16, 2022 #143 Share Posted January 16, 2022 Glad its over. Australia showed many weaknesses, hipocrisy, totalitarian government, how cruel it can be. I saw many episodes of 'Border Patrol Australia', even then it was obvious that their officials are enjoying to unnecessary hurt other people, their dignity, feelings. Novak could have done this differently. He should have known that their policy is not just strict but also robotic. Plus, giving wrong data, giving interview when ill didnt help him a bit. Both sides are guilty, IMO. Wanderer, heywoodu, MHSN and 1 other

Well, I hope he can refocus on whatever comes after the AO and I hope the AO will be a good tournament and this whole thing can be kind of left behind.
