By the way, the World Cup in Otepää seems to be fully booked at least as far as the normal tickets are concerned on Saturday and Sunday. Nice that so many people are interested in the biathlon sport in Estonia, because they do not have a real top athlete.
Ticket prices were also not really high, at least when I compare it to Oberhof or Ruhpolding. A place at the track costs 6,90€ on Thursday&Friday and 9,90€ in the stadium. On the weekend, the track tickets are 4€ more expensive, but also two races.

Those are great prices.

Mona Brosson has tested positive for COVID 19, she has been replaced by Johanna Skottheim.

China has not been given permission to leave the country after the Olympics, so they will not be racing in the last three races.

That means the following countries are done with their seasons -

Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, Korea and China

Said OEB - "It's dramatic for Chinese biathlon and I'm very disappointed, they will lose all the IBU points they had acquired, they will have to start from scratch and it's really not good."

Asked if he and Daria will stay on for another term as coaches in China "I don't know at all, we have to talk privately with the family, with them, and we'll see. For the moment, no decision has been made."

One can imagine funding to drop all the way down now that Beijing is over, so I think it's easy to expect they won't remain there :p

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!
