Wumo 2,795 Posted August 2, 2018 #11 Share Posted August 2, 2018 #3 seeded, Boe and Mogensen, is out of the tournament, not really that surprising. No convincing results in the last months and they didn't had the best preparations for the WCH. Also #8 seeded, Astrup and Rasmussen, is out. Defeated by an unseeded pair. Not the best tournament for our men's doubles. Last hope is #6 seeded Conrad-Petersen and Colding Btw congratulations to and

Wumo 2,795 Posted August 3, 2018 #16 Share Posted August 3, 2018 Well our biggest hope for a medal, Victor Axelsen, the defending world champion, is out. He lost to #8 seeded Chen Long. Early today, #4 seeded Christiansen and Pedersen lost to #5 seeded Zhang and Li. The last Danish pair/players at WCH Conrad-Petersen and Kolding play later today against #2 seeded Liu and Zhang. Wumo 2,795 Posted August 3, 2018 #17 Share Posted August 3, 2018 (edited) Time to say goodbye to the last Danish pair/players at WCH Conrad-Petersen and Kolding. They we're defeated by #2 seeded Liu and Zhang in three sets (21-13,14-21, 21-18). A bit disappointing WCH for the Danish team. We hoped for 1 or 2 medals, but goes home empty-handed. This also means there is only one European player left at WCH Carolina Marín. Vamos Carolina! Hopefully she will continue her great play. Good luck to Carolina and @Cobi Edited August 3, 2018 by wumo26 Cobi
