Unless :CAN athletics team increases from a quota of 45, the overall team size will be 488, slightly smaller then the last non-home games in 2011. However, many quotas were declined, so this could have easily been over 500 athletes. Not too bad.

I've read the prospectus of the Men's Pan American Cup, which is being held in Mexico right now, but couldn't find anything related to this year's Pan Am Games.

 

Instead it says this will be the first tournament counting towards qualification for 2023 Pan Am Games.

I always arrive late to the info but today I noticed that the first week of the games has quite literally NOTHING to watch other than gymnastics. 

 

lol who made this schedule and why didn't they make the logical decision to place athletics during the first week?

Tradition, I guess? Which is of course idiotic considering the schedule clashing with Swimming.

 

Well, at least this way we can give some attention to the team sports.
