Topicmaster1010 2,182 Posted January 12, 2022 #11 Share Posted January 12, 2022 Men's Aerials Quotas (before reallocation): 4 quotas: Belarus China ROC 3 quotas: Canada Switzerland Ukraine United States 1 quota: Kazakhstan Women's Aerials Quotas (before reallocation): 4 quotas: Canada United States 3 quotas: Australia China ROC 2 quotas: Belarus Kazakhstan Ukraine 1 quota: Germany Switzerland Looks like missing last year cost China getting all 4 quotas. Mixed Team Aerials Event (before reallocation): Belarus Canada China Kazakhstan ROC Switzerland Ukraine United States Reserves: Men:, , , , Women: , , , , A whopping 10 nations qualifying athletes here . Though I do expect Canada to at least reject one quota for each gender which means that Great Britain and Japan would get quotas though I remember that Great Britain doesn't accept reallocations so maybe not. hckošice, Wumo and Vic Liu
Jan Linha 459 Posted January 15, 2022 #12 Share Posted January 15, 2022 Could anyone help find out why Nicholas Novak is not on the list in Aerials. Until last year he represented but then he switched to the country of his parents. In the mid-December he claimed he qualified for the Olympics ...... But had an official pre-nomination and nobody mentioned him at all. Despite he spoke in media about it ..... Could be behind all of this the politics of changing citizenships in FIS rules? ..... Cause the same did Matěj Švancer to .... But he will surely be at the Games...

I don't remember him ever being in qualifying position. https://www.fis-ski.com/DB/general/athlete-biography.html?sectorcode=FS&competitorid=179450&type=result Here's his results. If you add up the number of points he scored during the qualification period, it's the same as the number of points he has on the allocation list. Topicmaster1010 2,182 Posted January 15, 2022 #14 Share Posted January 15, 2022 Men's Moguls Quotas (before reallocation): 4 quotas: Australia Canada Japan Sweden United States 2 quotas: Finland France Kazakhstan ROC 1 quota: China Switzerland Women's Moguls Quotas (before reallocation): 4 quotas: Australia Canada Japan United States 3 quotas: Kazakhstan ROC 2 quotas: France Germany Great Britain 1 quota: Brazil China Reserves: Men: , , , , Women: , , , , Canada will surely be rejecting some quotas here. Given the state of the moguls team outside of Kingsbury this season, it could be 2 in each gender.

Ya, Canadian moguls skiing is in extremely rough shape, it just looks fine because Kingsbury is one of the greatest skier of all times. Canada has to give up six quotas total, so I think at least one rejected quota in both men's and women's moguls is a given.

The IOC waived any waiting time for him back in July 2021. https://olympics.com/ioc/news/ioc-eb-approves-athlete-changes-of-nationality-for-beijing-2022

She is American and opted to compete for Brazil (probably due to the fact it would be easier for her to qualify).

The FIS have him listed https://www.fis-ski.com/DB/v2/quota/allocation/owg/fs/2022?gender=M&event=AE&page=1 here, and he is in 39th place. With max quotas removed he is still the 8th reserve.
