Breaking News:

Petra Vlhová will not compete anymore in Beijing and will retun home as soon as possible.

Reason: left ankle injury which was the reason why she did not start in the Super-G and yesterday Downhill training. Examination confirmed inflammation of the tendon in the left ankle.

"Petra decided not to start in combination due to worsening ankle tendonitis. This inflammation has affected her preparation in previous weeks. Petra did not want this situation to worsen at the Olympics, because we still have important goals ahead of us by the end of the season. She will return to Slovakia, where she will undergo medical treatment. She plans to spend a few days at home to share Olympic emotions with her loved ones and to gain the energy needed for the challenging end of the World Cup series, "said coach Mauro Pini.

2nd run of M giant slalom postponed until 8:00 am CET (100 minutes from now).

So instead of fitting perfectly in a nice gap in the schedule, it now comes exactly together with the cross-country relay

At least both should still be done before biathlon starts :p

:SVK Zampas 1-2! Stop the count! @hckošice:p

A Zampa is clearly the best of them though.
