prso1000 533 Posted January 18, 2022 #71 Share Posted January 18, 2022 Waiting for Norway and Sweden plus few smaller federations, and it still could be that Austria doesn’t get any male reallocation and remains with only 9 quotas 😳
Olympian1010 7,417 Posted January 18, 2022 #72 Share Posted January 18, 2022 Any clue why turned down Simander’s quota? intoronto 1 “Sport has the power to change the world. Now down to 90 countries and likely for the first time in a while (or ever) we will see less countries at a WOG vs the previous edition She just competed this past weekend as well...odd choice. Dunadan 1,103 Posted January 18, 2022 #75 Share Posted January 18, 2022 Didn't the Kenyan NOC forget about the quota process in 2018, despite telling Simader she was competing? Maybe this time they forgot about her entirely.
Robertino 83 Posted January 18, 2022 #76 Share Posted January 18, 2022 declined four women's quotas. should have 11 women after reallocations!!!

I would fire all the coaches etc. I mean they could have easily improved the placement of few athletes, but probably just thought it is not needed. intoronto 4,071 Posted January 18, 2022 #79 Share Posted January 18, 2022 Does a country really need 11 athletes? Maybe 9 should be enough... 4 for technical and 4 for speed, along with a floater
dcro 10,172 Posted January 18, 2022 #80 Share Posted January 18, 2022 Since it happened to Austria, I am actually hopeful something will be done in this regards for next time. For starters, 32 spots can get transferred from ski cross to alpine skiing. Easy. heywoodu 1 #banbestmen
