heywoodu 13,504 Posted August 21, 2021 #41 Share Posted August 21, 2021 Out of curiousity, are the commentators by any chance selected for a specific inability to pronounce names? Easily half the names are pronounced wildly differently by them than one would reasonably expect If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! heywoodu 13,504 Posted August 21, 2021 #42 Share Posted August 21, 2021 And wow, that 400m semi of Roshawn Clarke must have been the fail of the year. Just, wow. Learned a very hard lesson right there. Spoiler In case it wasn't posted earlier, 55:10, top-2 goes to the final. It makes you wonder how fast he can run in the event at the senior level. My guess would be around 13.30 s. He seems pretty small and that might be a disadvantage with higher hurdles. Belocian also looked like a sure thing at junior level, but never developed as expected. Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached. dodge 681 Posted August 22, 2021 #44 Share Posted August 22, 2021 I think he has a much better shot but his hurdling does need to improve. Hit at least 3 in his semi final

Tia Clayton, who only ran 11.60 this year, was less than 0.3 slower. Also I doubt that „she“ will still be allowed to compete when „she“ is 26 years old.
