I’m pretty much in the unknown as well. But I saw an article on a Canadian athletics website https://runningmagazine.ca that explained that our athlete (Tristan Woodfine) competing at the Boston Marathon has to finish top five to qualify for the Olympics. I believe the same applies for all of the platinum marathons.

Jur 509 Posted Monday at 02:57 PM #614 Share Posted Monday at 02:57 PM Boston is too downhill to count. But because it's a Platinum Label event, top5 qualify to the games because that's happens in all Platinum events. Weldu serves as an example or that. She didnt finnish top5 and despite doind the standar isnt qualified
Josh 5,489 Posted Tuesday at 05:53 PM #615 Share Posted Tuesday at 05:53 PM Note, this is Athletics Australia’s first stage of team selection, more athletes will be added to the team in the coming months.
