AS Roma become the first Italian team to win a European club competition since 2009/10 (Inter/UCL with Mourinho). This is Roma's first major UEFA club competition title; the club has won also two European trophy: Inter-Cities Fairs Cup 1960/61 and Anglo-Italian Cup 1971 (both cups not organised by UEFA) José Mourinho becoming the first coach to win all three current men's UEFA club trophies.
