Suffice to say, Eteri's girls end up having fairly short careers due to overtraining. And if their bodies continue growing (like it tends to happen with teenagers), then their technique becomes useless and they end their careers extremely abruptly (see Zagitova). And this was while they were only doing the triples... Who knows what will become of the current quad pioneers... I still hope for Amrbulevičius/Reed pair to sort out their citizenship as they been showing great form this season, but Ramansuakaitė/Kižala would make a history as first pair of Lithuanian-born skaters in Olympics. Vic Liu 1,558 Posted December 2, 2021 #16 Share Posted December 2, 2021 According Japanese mainstream media asashi.com, Grand Prix Final scheduled in Japan has been cancelled due to the travel ban for foreigners over omicron variant concern. If ISU will relocate the GPF is not clear yet but I think the possibility is quite low given the insufficient preparation time. opruh and Gianlu33 1

Bearas 359 Posted December 11, 2021 #18 Share Posted December 11, 2021 Allison Reed submitted her final application for Lithuanian citizenship earlier this week. It's very unlikely to get approved by Lithuanian president.
maestro 561 Posted December 23, 2021 #19 Share Posted December 23, 2021 Russian championships started today in St Petersburg. Scores are a bit, or a lot, inflated, as most of the times in nationals. The ranking order is what it matters the most. Tomorrow, free dance and men's free skate will be contested, as well as women's short program. Men's short program Top 8 Full results - Men - Short Program Men_SP_Scores Ice dance- rhythm dance Davis/Smolkin have the upper hand for third. They are ahead of Zagorski/Guerreiro, Morozov/Bagin and Khudaiberdieva/Bazin. These three teams are sperated by less than 1.5 points. For those who don't know Davis is Tutberidze's daughter. When she was younger, she suffered from third degree hearing loss, which means severe hearing impairment. She has said that nowdays her hearing has been cured. Zagorski had some serious health issues recently and this is the first time, she and Guerreiro compete this season. Crowd in the stadium were unhappy with their score and reacted with boos.
