Not only we had problems with the rain yesterday (3 to 4 hour delay), but also 3 matches ended 3-2, which of course was terrible for the organization. The last match of the day (Peru vs Dominican Republic) started way past midnight, and ended past 2AM local time.
 
Two kinda surprising results: Mexico 3-0 win over Argentina, and Cuba 3-2 win over USA - I know the americans are here with a B team, but it's been more than 10 years that Cuba won against them!

Thought it was a good moment to open this thread since the Women's Volleyball Pan American Cup (which will give 5 spots for the Pan Am Games) will start this Sunday + the Central American and Caribbean Games (which will give spots in a lot of sports) will start very soon. Gradually I will be updating the number of qualified athletes in the second post (I'm still unsure about some sports).

Unfortunately because of the elections (ugh) I won't be able to arrive at the start, which I was very curious about (the opening ceremony not being in a stadium and all).
 
So I will arrive only by the end of first week and stay there for 10 days, and later go to Uruguay for another week - and pending the results of the elections, I wish I could stay there indefinitely

If it were up to the english there would be no World cup or even international football. They are the biggest anti-FIFA in the world.
