  3. well very poor play of the USA in this first period. one would thing that it´s Slovakia who play.. but if the US thougth that the Hungarians will defeat themselves just because they will face USA, they are very wrong. I hate when those so-called big teams thing that´s they are the lords of the world and play only at 40-50%. Hungary is playing great and they deserve to play against teams which will respect them and play at their best. just because of that I really wish HUN will beat them today
  4. Scores after 1st period A Czech Republic - Kazakhstan 1-0 (1-0, -, -) 06:55 Tomáš PLEKANEC 1-0 B United States - Hungary 0-0 (0-0, -, -)
  5. he is just building his career in this tournament. I expect very interesting offers comming from some big clubs. he is fantastic so far. hope not jinx it. but he is very great!
  6. very good penalty killing of the hungarians, in other hand patethic perf of the USA team so far
  7. well, Canada has huge chance to win the whole tournament, no doubts. the question is what will do Russia, the pressure is enprmous on them this year
  8. possible, but I still think that Russia will finally somehow reach the final, also don´t forget Czech Republic they are once again in one of their famous "hockey euphorias" this year but for sure those 4 teams will be in the semifinals
  9. ok so let see a first summary after the heats in mens C1 and mens K1 for the last olympic spot in C1 Jerguš Baďura qualified Norway for the semifinals, the good thing for him is that this is his home venue, he grew up here and trained many many years in this water, so we´ll see if the guy who just weasn´t able to fulfill his olympic or world championships dream in Slovakian jersey because he was always the 4th behind Martikán, Beňuš and Slafkovský will surprisingly start in Rio in Norwegian colours. also Spain qualified for the semis 2 guys, especially Ander Elosegi is probably the top favorite for the spot. apart them there also the croatian Marinič who definitely has the capacities to do something and win the quota, as dcro said, he just need some more luck than he usually has tomorrow. the other countries who will fight for the quota tomorrow are Italy they are in the "best starting position" because they managed to qualify all their 3 athletes to the semifinals with Cipressi, Colazingari and Ivaldi, Belarus with Tratsiak, Greece with the iconic Tsakmakis, Ireland with Liam Jegou and Portugal with Carvalho. so still in the course for 1 spot. In mens K1 only 6 non qualified countries reached the semifinals : with 2 guys Holmer and Ohrstrom, with Hermans, again the top favorite with all 3 guys but especially the very experimented Samuel Hernanz, has also 3 athletes in semifinals, 2 of them are very good Michael Kurt and Martin Dougoud, with Silva and finally another venue home athlete Marcel Potočný for
  10. the europeans just started and I just noticed that our Jerguš Baďura is representing Norway in C1 oh dear..and looking at his time in 1st heat ..wow

  13. and I forget to mention your fans what the hell. they are just AMAZING. singing and jumping during the whole matches, no matter which score is. and I love this tradition of your fans and team to sing the national anthem despite you lost the match after when the winning team go out of the ice after listening the winning team national anthem, your players keep standing on the blue line and your fans start sing the anthem. I like it. even our commentators were impressed by that and show this moment live after each match
  14. yeah, I see. cool. you are absolutely right to be proud of your team, they show great team spirit, and frankly I´m impressed by your skills and your fight in the matches. I think your biggets problem is the lack of experiences, you have still to absorb some lessons how to play those matches, especially you are (it´s only my opinion, so you may be not agrre at all ) you are too much impatient, you want score much goals early, early as possible, instead your opponents knew how to wait for the best moment and were more patient, for example against France you were great in the start, I see this enthusiasm and how your players wanted to score from each position, in other hand the french were much patient and waited for the right moments and scored the necessary goals. pity for that match, really pitty but it´s only with this kind of matches you will reach the needed experiences and next time you should be again some more step better. you definitely have a potential and great team workin. I use many times this word team spirit, teamfighting, because I see it in Germany, Hungary ...in fact in each team here except SVK, we haven´t a TEAM here, they don´t work together, and that´s the main reason why we are so shitty this year, we are not proud of our "team" this year at all... and second thing. I still didn´t understood why Germany and France are in the same group when both are secured to maintain themselves as next years co-hosts. I think Hungary was robbed by this act. you have very though task this year, not only beat more experienced countries but also pass both lets tell "low ranked" already secured teams. and yes the match against Finland was great and this goalie Vay was fantastic. thats true. he is so tall. I didn´t believed he´ll be so good at first see, but during the match, I started to be more and more impressed by his skills and efort.
  15. lol some magics tonight for Germany this was the 4th match of Germany in this tournament. Canada scored first goal in 4th minute of first period Canada scored second goal in 4th minute of second period Canada scored the winning goal tonight in 4th minute of third period Germany scored a clearly regular goal 4 minutes before the end of the first period but the Referee after calling with video ref didn´t recognized him and ofc the best player of the match and two goals scorers tonight Taylor Hall played with number 4 magic....
