  1. ok, I´ll not argue. so let say one of the main contenders for gold if you want. as world and european champions I think anyone must count of them for a gold medal fight.. but well, they aren´t now for sure after what I just seen. In other hand Germany is very strong I agree, Your Heat performance was impressive.
  2. just read the result 18-19 on penalties...oh dear your womens WP teams are really unlucky...
  3. poor performance of our K4 today this is so typical...they win everything and when come the olympics they flop...everytime the same..Athens 2004, Beijing 2008 and London 2012 everytime.. oh well, few days ago I would´ve be sure for the gold, now I´m not sure even about a medal...
  4. Thanks Third medal in Rio overall, second gold. but first ever medal in athletics (since independance ofc..there were few under Czechoslovakia, including another gold in Race walk but in 20km thanks Jozef Pribilinec in 1988)
  5. Thanks. last few words about todays race, now when I calmed down a bit and recovered my mind ...a bit ok so the results are official with the bronze for Evan Dunfee. Congrats Canada I have to say thats a surprise for me, thinking that Evan already had a amazing and very hard race last Friday in the 20km, I was sure he ´ll be the most tired one from the athletes in the top of the race, but he showed today a great effort. respect ! Congrats also to Australia for the silver. Jared is a great walker too and he proved it today once again. Pitty for Chocho Ecuador without medals in Rio, I wanted him on the podium with Totha and Heffernan, no medal this time for the Irish but well, 6th place and great effort too was briliant as well. congrats. and what to say about the hero of the day. Diniz what a superhero, instoppable ! I knew that it will be impossible for him to win with the way he started to compete today, it was just a stupid tactic in this conditions, but the way how he didn´t gave up and fought to finish the race is for me one of the highlights of those games. Respect to Yohan too. In total only 48 out of the 80 athletes participating in the race finished it. Just explaining how difficult were the conditions and how extremely demanding was the race today. the last classified Serbian Filipovic ended the race 58 minutes behind Toth !!! very very difficult race. very heavy.
  6. well, what to say... I´m speechless, entirely speechless... This is my best and the most beautiful day in my life talking about sport ofc. Matej is absolutely amazing ! I´m so happy he managed to keep all the pressure as he was clearly the biggest favorite for gold here, at least in Slovakia It was a cruel and exciting race, I lost some 10 years today just watching it, even in our TV his coach said : "peoples don´t be afraid, Matej is doing his tactics perfectl, He´ll start the race in 40th kilometer." so we were waiting this and he did it oh dear I do not know what to say more...I´m so happy, so so happy..I wanted this athletics medal so much...and finally we have it and it´s a gold ..I can´t believe it. Absolutely awesome. Congrats Matej, current world champion and olympic champion Our 9th summer olympic gold in history and the first ever non-canoe slalom Gold and finally Thank you all for your congratulations ! Thank a lot
