  2. so no olympic canoe slalom in Slovakia After Krakow 2022 withdrawal we lost the second co-hosting of the olympiad in some few months... the amount of our potentional co-hosts is really rapidly declining... not much left
  3. 22nd February, such a memorable historic day..   4. as far as I know, only 40 athletes competes in womens ski jumping event 30 qualified and 10 pre-qualified.
  5. no nothing in the mens category. actually we have any ski jumper even in the juniors category. There apparently just 3 girls trying this sport, one of them competed at EYOF last week, finishing last but at least it´s something...assuming the conditions for this sport here it´s already a miracle that someone is doing this sport at all...nordic skiing is dead here, totally and without any way out, one day our cross country skiers will finish their careers and the circle will be over
  6. yep hopefully this time he´ll finish the race since this time he´ll need to complete only 1 lap but no, I´m joking ofc, maybe he´ll do much better tomorrow, as he is perhaps just more familiar with the freestyle technique and it was the reason why he struggled so much today in the classical style

FIS NORDIC SKIING WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 2017 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jonsdottir and Crnkovic win qualification races at Lahti 2017 The 2017 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships kicked off today with qualification competitions in the 5/10 km interval start classic event. Iceland's Elsa-Gudrun Jonsdottir has won the ladies' 5 km classic qualification competition in Lahti stadium. She crossed the line in a time of 15:23.9 which was good for a 20.1 second margin of victory over second place finisher Nansi Okoro of Bulgaria. In third place from Australia was Katerina Paul +34.2 seconds back of the winning time. In the men's 10 km classic interval start competition it was Kresimir Crnkovic of Croatia who crossed the line in first place with a time of 26:21.5. In second place +55.6 seconds behind was Lithuania's Deividas Klisevicius and in third was Achbadrakh Batmunkh from Mongolia +1:05.5 back. Qualified athletes will now have the chance to begin distance competitions during the Championships in Lahti.
