To be fair, what Israel is doing in Gaza now and has been doing for decades to Palestinians is not much better, if not worse. They just don't use stones, they use sophisticated bombs dropping them from the sky. Principle remains the same, only technology is changing.

Brazil is breaking records after records of high weather this year and we arent even in the summer.
Im feeling bad, weak and exhausted almost everyday cuz ive never felt this hot before.
Before this year, the Record high in my City was like 34° and this year we had more than 40°c twice!!!
The weatherman are saying that the worst wave will be now in december and these waves gonna be comming til April at least. I hate you Super El Niño.

has some outside chances, but I wouldn't bet in any of them (maybe D'Almeida). In Tokyo we won an unexpected medal in Tennis for the first time, so maybe we'll add another sport to the list in Paris.
Archery (men's individual, Marcus D'Almeida)
Canoe Slalom (women's C1, Ana Sátila)
Rhythmic Gymnastics (group all-around)
Table Tennis (men's singles, Hugo Calderano)
Triathlon (men's individual, Miguel Hidalgo)

and if Israel didn't succeed in getting rid of hamas from 80s , do u think armless poor Palestinian people can get rid of them , plz have some logic , it's fine for me to say oh i don't care i don't blame anyone for this , but at least show some sympathy it's very easy task for u as a human being

Israel bans Egypt from taking patients from Gaza to be cured in Egypt , they don't want them to be cured after being bombed , genocide with all the word means

Israel is the like the boy who cried wolf. Provoking the Palestinians with their policies and then crying wolf when they are attacked. There would be no Hamas if Israel was remotely interested in peace and providing the Palestinian population with just the basics. They claim they do, but people see through the bs. I'm not condoning Hamas by any stretch here, just pointing out Israel is the root cause of the issues here.
Why can't we all just live in peace? Seriously.

You sure ? because I hear complete different things whenever I turn on my TV and watch western leaders speeches. for my own mental health I prefer to stay away from all kind of war related news, it's just hard to watch children suffer like that everyday. but it's also impossible to stay away and call yourself human.
Western countries are always proud of being 100% democratic. I believe that but that also means the guy in charge speak for the entire population of that specific country. (unless you tell me this democracy is a joke which I don't want to believe) so I think you are probably wrong. the majority loves it and probably even orders popcorn to watch this bloodshed everyday on TV.
You speak about the whole thing like Palestinians were living in a Paradise and all of a sudden some of them decided to kill some "Jews" to have fun.
their lives were terrible already, they had been treated like animals for so many years. when you treat people like animals, they will react like animals. of course nothing justifies killing children. but they were like some animals out of a 50 years old cage.
I don't like Hamas for my own reasons and that doesn't surprise me if the majority of people in Gaza doesn't support them (or better I should say didn't support them) but Hamas is not the root of the problems
Hamas didn't exist in first place. maybe you should check why it's even created. and there will be another Hamas even if this one completely gets destroyed.
they went to Lebanon and massacred people in 1982 (or let them be massacred by their friends) and another group (far more dangerous) emerged. I can guess the same will happen in Gaza unless the ultimate solution happens (which is only the two states idea)
like most places in the world, even in Palestine most people just want to live in peace and have a normal life, but they didn't have a normal life. this current situation can't stay forever.
@thepharoah I seriously suggest you to use this ignore button , I used that on so many so-called users here and that makes your life much easier. that's the only way I could stay in this forum.

As we can see from the medal table, all 4 top nations made considerable gains in gold medals, accounting for almost 66% of total gold medals (vs. 59% in 2019), which caused other nations to suffer a little, especially . Without most of their Track and Field stars, suffered the biggest drop here in the rankings, as well as in gold and total medals percentage. all had their best Games ever, and I think some other nations too: .
had a huge increase in the total number of medals, but failed to win more gold medals, which is certainly a bit disappointing for a host nation. They lost a staggering number of direct finals (14 out of 17), which would certainly help them in the ranking (they also were 8th in 2019). Even with a drop in medals, achieved a better ranking compared to Lima, which I think is a first for a previous host?
Record number of nations that medaled in a single edition with 34, thanks in part to six NOCs that managed to win at least one medal after none in Lima: . Three nations that had at least one medal in 2019 did not win any this time: .

LuizGuilherme reacted to heywoodu in What is a rather unlikely Paris 2024 qualification quota / medal for your NOC, you would cherish the most?
Rather unlikely, alright. If Churandy Martina gets a medal I swear I'm not gonna keep my eyes dry
Individual medal for Liemarvin Bonevacia would be absolutely amazing as well. Both guys are true gold medal winners in terms of life attitude and overal source of inspiration. For example, I love Bonevacia's answer in Tokyo when, after the semi's (where he qualified for the final), he was asked about his 'prayer' before the race, asked if he was asking for help from above: "Not really, you're not gonna ask God to make other people have a bad race. I just asked, please, if today is my day, let my dream come true, if it's someone else's day, let their dream come true."
Just a minor example, they're just overall great guys.

LuizGuilherme reacted to hoversaBR in What is a rather unlikely Paris 2024 qualification quota / medal for your NOC, you would cherish the most?
I think that for quotas it would be men's basketball.
For unlikely but not impossible medals, I would be happy with Hugo Calderano's medal in table tennis, Hidalgo or Messias in triathlon or the women's handball team.
