I think there's a rare mistake in ProCyclingStats.
Two Michael Fitzgeralds have been merged into one

That is most likely the longest article I've ever seen about the use of doping in bridge.

Unlike Spain, Papua New Guinea managed to score a try against Australia.
It's rather refreshing to have a team sport that isn't EUROPE EUROPE EUROPE.

I am gonna be so ashamed of my country today
It's time for Alpe d'Huez, AKA 'The Dutch Mountain'. That's always completely packed with half the Dutch population, especially in 'The Dutch Turn', turn 7. The finish is on the Alpe today, so that's gonna make it even worse
Some illustration, this video was made 2-3 days ago in turn 7, where Dutch 'fans' (mostly just drunk people) have been camping for almost a week already.

Right, but it still stands that most culture discourages women from participating in sports. There is also a lack of money and funding for women’s sports because of sexist beliefs. How are women supposed to be motivated, if men do not support them and only discourage them.

For the most part I would agree but I do like some changes like the addition of non-traditional new sports at the Summer Games.
Also, I'm not jumping the "Mixed events are shit" bandwagon. They are perfect for sports like Triathlon or Modern Pentathlon where separate men's and women's team events for them would be too much. Too bad MP didn't get their mixed event at the Olympics. The Mixed Medley Relay in Swimming however is nonsense.

So apparently alpine combined is not out? So much for @heywoodu's statement about Gisin being Olympic champion for all times.
I'm quite happy that they didn't go for that parallel/city/boring event and whatnot.

Or because I’m surrounded by people with racial issues, and a false belief in populism. I’m pretty certain almost every sovereign nation is meddling in each other’s affairs. Right rather have a politically correct President than one who: has bragged about assaulting woman, caged children, banned people because of their religion, used business as a way to justify his denial in science, declared victory over our allies, blames everything on people he doesn’t like, talks with the vocabulary of a 5 year old, pulled my country closer to autocratic leaders, invited the Russians to meddle in our elections, went bankrupt multiple times, has denied facts throughout his term, created fake “fake news”, used race baiting as an excuse to bring back derogatory practices.
He doesn’t seem to represent the average person, and he certainly doesn’t represent the America I know. Political correctness saves us from administrations like NAZI Germany, the USSR, military junta’s, and autocratic leaders.
I also don’t think that age determines a person’s knowledge on a subject. I am one of the kids in the state for knowledge in geography, politics, and history. Of course the older “wiser” generations use age as a way to justify a reaction against new ideas.
