So punishing proven cheaters is now a political decision? While letting them go scot-free would be fair and NOT political?
Always the same boring narrative. "Russians should not be punished for their proven fraudulent cover-up of a fraud (...) because, get this, there are maybe probably more cheaters out there."
This would be just dandy in real life. "Your Honor, even though there is undeniable evidence, I believe my client should get away with murder, since there are surely murderers out there who never went to jail."

RUSADA declaration: “We will organize our own Olympic Games, with blackjack and hookers! Better, without Olympic Games. And blackjack!”
ok, I’m sorry but I couldn’t resist

Gontier is why the Italians like the mixed relay so much - it keeps her in the stands.

nope unless you calculate it yourself (I did it only for athletes in question)
and I don't think WT publishes the full ranking before January 2020.

There was a 13 year old swimmer in Rio, so I would imagine yes.

She would definitely be allowed to compete. Ledecky won her first medal when she as 15 I believe.
Yes, I believe FINA as said that athletes in Aquatics must be 13 years old and older.

Nah, that is easy: when I was at my first year of university I used to remember atomic weights of some element up to the fourth decimal. Then I got old and decided to start making chocolate

Which is why a possibly slighly failed homemade bunch of chocolates mght be more appreciated than one easily bought in a shop

Changes incoming for parade of nations during opening ceremonies in Olympic Games: while Greece will still open the parade and host nation will close it, known future host of the games will precede the host country of the Games in the parade. So, in Tokyo 2020, :USA USA will be the third-last (LA 2028), France second-last (Paris 2024) and Japan obviously last. In Beijing 2022, Italy will be second-last and China will close the ceremony as usual.
mah. I really cannot understand the need for this.

IOC changed Olympic parade order, with future host nations entering right before the current host, how stupid is that.
